Roberta and the Association

I am Roberta Tirassa, the director of the house, a dancer and choreographer of afro contemporary dance.

Glosolì is the space of my afro contemporary dance company (Compagnia Roberta Tirassa) and of the artistic and cultural association Glosolì who's mission is:
 

• to diffuse and promote the “métissage culturel”, dance, culture, contemporary art in all its forms, environmental education, a sustainable tourism and the valorization of women’s potential.

• To enrich art and stimulate people’s creativity through a direct contact with nature and a respect and protection for the environment.
   

• To create an exchange of ideas among different disciplines of contemporary art in an international context and make exchanges and a net among artists living in different countries.
   

• To organize open-air art events and cultural activities for the members.

Classes, workshops, performances, exhibitions, conferences, naturalistic excursions are taking place;  as I also personally practice various forms of holistic healing, in an effort to honor the organic connection between body, mind and spirit, some of the activities of Glosolì are dedicated to it.

GlósóIi is a research space mainly for dance creations and choreography, dance/music shows  and  performances, but is also open to the hybridism of different art forms and cultures.

We can communicate in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese.
I am a researcher and I like to explore.
My actual artistic researches are connected to “métissage culturel” (cultural hybridism), the feminine, divinities and myths in everybody, flowers, colors. And most of all a merging of dance/art and nature and/or in the nature.
